Josh

Josh is a Certified Financial Planner certificate holder. In addition, he is a Licensed General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series 8); Licensed General Securities Representative (Series 7); Registered Investment Adviser; and licensed Maryland Life and Health Insurance agent.

Josh came back to the DC area in the early 1990’S after completing his degree in Environmental Biology at Tulane University. Josh was accepted into the training program of a regional fix income specialized brokerage firm. He began to build a client base, and reputation, as a prudent, cash management and fixed income focused investment adviser.

Josh continues to work in cash management and fixed income portfolio development for high net-worth investors, endowments, non-profits, and fiduciaries. He also assists clients is equity management through a large universe of fiduciary asset managers.

IN THE COMMUNITY

Josh has been a resident of Annapolis, Maryland since 1996. His wife Jennifer teaches Special Education at Severna Park Elementary School. Their three children all attended Anne Arundel County public schools, with their oldest Zach graduating from University of Maryland with a degree in Computer Science. Max is attending Anne Arundel Community College, and Elizabeth is rising senior at Broadneck High School. Josh was a Webelos Den Leader, and certified Boy Scouts of America Youth Leader. Josh and Jennifer are involved in many local programs to assist families with autism. Max, their middle child, is a cashier at Biddy and Beau’s in Annapolis, which is regional coffee chain founded to provide employment opportunities for children with learning differences.

AWAY FROM OFFICE

Josh and his family enjoy the wonderful outdoor recreation opportunities in the Annapolis/DC/Baltimore area. Josh enjoys rowing, sailing, and walking their dogs around the many trails in Annapolis. He organizes the annual Annapolis Keels and Wheels, which highlights local residents' classic cars, boats, and motorcycles. He has been the safety/committee boat for Annapolis Rowing Club and Wye Island Regatta every year since 1999, until it was suspended for Covid.
